Notes for the week of 5-1-2022

Vets Freedom Fest Was a great success. It is estimated that over 700 were in attendance. There were many examples of veterans engaging in fellowship with one another. This writer was thanked several times for the church hosting the event by people who were impressed with the comradery.

There is no evening service tonight.

We are hosting Eternal Vision this morning with covered dish lunch following the worship service.

This Thursday (5/5) is National Day of Prayer from noon until 1 at St James Methodist Church, 400 Reid St.

Deacons will meet next Sunday evening.

Awana Clubs are planning an evening of water fun on May 17. The children will have water pistols and tubs of water to refill from. Then May 24 is our Parent Night where we will announce and brag about the progress the children have made. All are invited to attend May 24 at 6pm.

Our Wednesday night Bible study is led by Rev. C. J. Moore in 1 John. We have interesting discussions and answer questions.

Sunday School classes each Sunday morning at 9:45 for all ages
