Notes for the week of 3/15/2026

There will be a brief school board report/meeting immediately after the worship service. 

The Girls Chasing Jesus group will not meet tomorrow night. 

The monthly business meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday evening after prayer and Bible study. 

The Putnam County Fair is coming March 20-27 and the St. Johns River Baptist Association is hosting a booth. They are looking for volunteers to “man” the booth and are giving an evangelism training today at 3pm at their office to prepare you to tell others about Jesus. Other Christian booths will be there also including, The Gideons International and several local churches.

The AARP Foundation Tax Aide is available and open to all taxpayers. Get your taxes done free. AARP membership is not required. Appointments are Mondays through Wednesdays until April 8. For an appointment call 386-385-8588 .

There will be an organizational meeting for Vets Freedom Fest immediately after the morning worship.

Do you want a relationship with God?

According to the Bible, you can have a wonderful, personal relationship with God by following these steps:

1. Admit that you have rebelled by not following God’s laws perfectly. Romans 3:23 states that all have sinned or broken God’s law. 1 John 1:9 says that if we acknowledge our sins, God is upright and can be depended on to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from every wrong.
2. Believe that Jesus is God’s only son and that his death and resurrection is the only possible payment for your rebellion. John 3:16 says that God, because of His love for us, sent his only Son, so that all who believe in him should have eternal life.
3. Confess or say that you are a Christian. Romans 10:9 states if you speak the message that Jesus is Lord and believe with your heart and mind that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
4. Commit to place God first in your life by studying and obeying God’s truth in the Holy Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 state that all scripture is God inspired and is useful for teaching, correcting and training in right living, so that the Christian may be equipped for the work God has for him.

In order to have a relationship with God, think through the steps above and then commit yourself to grow in your new Christian life by daily talking to God in prayer and reading the Bible.
