Hillcrest Academy collects Box Tops for Education. Cut Box Tops from your favorite food items and bring them to the church. We have a collection box in back.

The Hillcrest Academy Awards Night will be June 7 here at the church. Everyone is welcome to attend and congratulate the students on their accomplishments.

Palatka High School graduation is June 8 and the RUGGED Youth group will be collecting $5 to park in our lot.

Vacation Bible School will be June 18-22. Lisa is our fearless leader and you can see her for details. We welcome any and all volunteers.

We have a new nursery volunteer list. If you serve but didn’t get a copy, they are in the materials rack.

Hillcrest collected $279 for The Mother’s Day offering last Sunday. Thanks to all who contributed. The Florida Baptist Children’s Homes are the beneficiary.

The Building Fundraiser Dinner is today. The menu sounded really “down home country”. Y’all plan to stay for pork and rice, greens, cornbread, and sweet tea.

On Tuesday evening there will be a Building Committee Meeting at 6:30.

The Vacation Bible School training will be held at Peniel Baptist Church on Thursday evening at 6:30.

Friday is Movie Night at 7pm. This is a great outreach for friends who might not attend a church service.

The Building Fundraiser Dinner this month will be next Sunday immediately after the morning worship. The cost of the dinners will go toward the building fund.

Shirley Bradner will sing for us on the 27th in the evening service. We look forward to seeing her again.

This Wednesday evening there will be a monthly business meeting immediately following the Bible Study.

Next Sunday is Mother’s Day. Be sure to invite friends and family. We will be recognizing all the ladies present next week.

Friday the 18th is Movie Night at 7pm. This is a great outreach for friends who might not attend a church service.   Who will you invite?

The Building Fundraiser Dinner this month will be on the 20th immediately after the morning worship.

We need more volunteers for our nursery on Sunday mornings. Everyone has a partner and you would to serve about once every three months.

The Russian choir will be here to bless us today. The funds they raise today will help them serve as missionaries in Russia.

Tuesday is the Men’s Fellowship meeting.

Thursday evening there will be a School Board meeting.

Thursday is also the National Day of Prayer. The emphasis is on our nation, our leaders, and our military.

On May 5 the school is having a yard sale.  Donations can be brought to the school during the week. See Ms. Jones for details.

Plan to stay and eat after the service this morning.  Spaghetti     dinners are a $10 donation to the building fund.

This Saturday we will have a Family Fun Hoedown. The play time begins at 3pm with games, music and fellowship.

Saturday evening from 5-8pm Jane Mason will have art on display at the Palatka Welcome Center across from Dairy Queen.

The Annie Armstrong Missions offering collected $537 to benefit missions within North America.

The Deacons Training was a wonderful blessing. There were 6 churches represented with new deacons. The ladies served a delicious luncheon afterward.

Today the 1st meeting to plan for  Vacation Bible School will be immediately after the morning service in the rear of the sanctuary. All are invited to join in as we make plans for a fun program. Many young persons are affected and come to Christ, nationwide, during VBS.

This Friday is Movie Night at 7PM. We will be watching “Flywheel” from the creators of Facing the Giants. The movie will have you cheering and crying once again. 

Next Sunday immediately after the service, plan to stay and eat. The building fundraiser dinner will be: spaghetti, bread, and salad. Meals are only $10 and all proceeds go into the building fund.
